Vision and History
From the beginning
The heartbeat of New Life is not just to have people sitting in seats. Rather, we strive to be a house that lives the gospel every day, giving away what was so freely given. There’s nothing more powerful than a body of believers who have been rocked by His power and changed by His presence. And so, we join hands and lift our voices to bring the message of powerful hope and unmatched love to a broken and weary world. Everyone has a role and everything falls into place as we lift Jesus high. This is the rise of the saints and this is why we love being a church where Jesus is the center of it all.
History of New Life
New Life Christian Fellowship was founded in 1984 under the leadership of Bishop Paul and Sharon Zink. The Lord led them from Maine to Jacksonville to start a work where there was freedom in the spirit and the presence of God was a necessary and tangible part of each service. Their gifts of faith and Biblical principles laid the foundation for a body of believers that exists to compel a city to love what matters most, Jesus. In January 2014, after 30 years as Senior Pastor, Bishop Zink started a new work in apostolic ministry while his son, Paul II, was installed as New Life’s Lead Pastor.
